Seafood restaurant and lobster roll aficionados Garbo’s Fresh Maine Lobster will open a new oyster and wine bar Sunday in the space adjoining the restaurant in Wells Branch (14735 Bratton Ln.).
The bar will serve a selection of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wine including Pazo De Galegos, an Albariño wine from Spain, and Radio-Coteau “Alberigi,” from Russian River Valley, California. The bar will also offer sake and beer. As with the restaurant, the oysters will be curated from across the country. The wine and oyster bar will be open Tuesday-Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“We are thrilled to continue to expand Garbo’s with the launch of the new oyster and wine bar at our brick and mortar,” says Heidi Garbo, owner of Garbo’s Fresh Maine Lobster. “It was only two years ago when we started out with the first Garbo’s food truck, and it is extremely exciting to be adding a new concept.”
Coinciding with the wine and oyster bar’s opening, Garbo’s will begin brunch service on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the regular oyster and lobster roll offerings, the brunch menu will feature a make-your-own-mimosa kit and dishes including house-made chorizo and eggs, served with peas and mushroom confit; crab sandwich with pancetta, egg and avocado; and an omelette with asparagus, brie, and lobster.
